Mediation Training Sessions

We often provide in-house training sessions on mediation for law firms, barristers’ chambers and insurers and/or your clients. The purpose of the session is to encourage a conversation about the mediation industry, where we think it is going and more importantly how your colleagues and your clients who are involved in mediations can make the most of us and the process to the benefit of all.

We can either attend your firm’s offices for the session or provide it remotely. There is no cost attached for either the mediators’ attendance or travel expenses (unless the distance is very significant). It often works well for the workshop to take place over lunchtime with refreshments provided.

The session usually lasts between one and two hours attended by two mediators from our Chambers who have considerable experience in mediation. One of those mediators is likely to be a mediator with whom you recently mediated a case.

We recommend you invite a minimum of 10 attendees to gain the full benefit from the session. We like it to be a relaxed event where attendees feel happy to ask open questions of the mediators as the topics are looked at.

We tailor every session to suit the audience and provide below a list of typical topics. We would normally cover four or five topics with a question and answer session, welcoming participation by the attendees.

If you are interested please complete this form with requested subjects you wish to cover. We will then contact you to discuss possible dates, mediators and numbers to attend.
