Background

An ancient pub included a brewhouse producing a locally well known brand of ale. Disputes about rent, alterations etc resulted in opposition to the grant of a new tenancy and disagreement about the beer brand name.

Outcome

The parties agreed a new lease and in respect of the brand on confidential terms.
