Private members' club governance issues

Background

Assisting a private members' club with several thousand members with a management crisis over future direction of the club.  Facilitating an away day for the leadership committee with the aim of allowing individual committee members to have their voices heard where there was a history of animosity between individuals which had built up over a number of years.

Outcome

Individual committee members were able to voice their opinions in a safe place and were helped to understand the views of the other members of the committee. An outline strategy was agreed for planning the future direction and management of the club.
