Background

Claim against solicitors for failing to secure the release of a charge on sale of a large property site.

Mediation was pre proceedings and publicity was deemed undesirable by both sides. Solicitors had a long standing relationship with the claimant who was very disappointed by the points as to quantum/ causation raised in the defence.

Claim settled at mediation.
