Background

Claim for fees and counter claim for breach of contract in respect of a significant services contract over a large estate.

The contract had come to an end and fees were outstanding. The Claimant initially disputed the performance issues which were raised by the defence but came to recognise that a number of issues had arisen and not been properly addressed throughout the mediation. mediation was pre proceedings and confidentiality was important to both sides.

Claim settled at mediation.
