Mark Jackson-Stops writes:

"At 10.40pm, on the night of Saturday, 8th June, just as you will be thinking about retiring to your warm and welcoming bed with the prospect of a Sunday morning lie-in ahead, I will be setting out on a 100 kilometre cycle ride around the sites of London, dodging revellers in the West End, weaving through the traffic and eventually hoping to complete the circuit around 6am. It’s no walk in the park!"In 1994, I rode my treasured Radius Peer Gynt recumbent cycle from London to Rome. In 1995, it was St Petersburg to Moscow. Then I was a young man of 45; the intervening 18/19 years have inevitably taken a toll while the bike has been suspended from the garage roof gathering dust."Now this new challenge has emerged."The reason why? Two pressing charitable needs have arisen. Please take a moment to read about these on my fundraising page by clicking here."Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to the charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. I really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations."Please, please give what you can. Donate here."
