Peter Brewer joining IPOS Mediation

We are excited to announce that Peter Brewer will be joining IPOS Mediation from May 2025.

Peter has over 20 years’ experience as a commercial litigation solicitor and is currently a Partner at national law firm, HCR Legal, based in Birmingham. He has been mediating since 2019 and will continue to build his mediation practice through IPOS. Peter’s practice has a particular focus on shareholder and insolvency disputes, but he also deals with contractual disputes, the enforcement of restrictive covenants, partnership disputes and banking litigation.

Peter has been a regular client of IPOS and a mediation advocate for several years. His mediation experience includes:

• Complex property disputes

• Disputes between former business partners

• An unfair prejudice petition relating to the proper distribution of assets in a property development company

• A contractual dispute where one of the parties was unrepresented

• A number of misfeasance claims between insolvent companies and their former directors

Peter is recommended in the Legal 500 for Commercial Litigation in the West Midlands.
